Meet Kate Gallagher
Founder + CEO
For 15 years Lancaster, PA native Kate Gallagher has worked for community benefit organizations focused on health and wellness initiatives, advocacy and empowerment of undeserved populations. Her nonprofit career took her first to Washington, D.C. and then to Colorado, where she worked on a national level with clients around the country. Work on that scale was rewarding, but what Kate really wanted was to see and feel the impact of her work a little closer to home, where she was raising her kids. So she and her family moved back to Lancaster, where she launched coLAB, a collaborative consulting firm that helps organizations succeed through sustainability planning, strategic planning, project management, and more. Kate’s passions include travel; she’s trekked to 5 continents, 16 countries, and 45 states. Her travels often take her off the beaten path, and the people she’s met and places she’s experienced inform how she helps those in her own community. Kate has earned a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University.

Meet Caitlyn Bordon
Caitlyn Bordon is a Lancaster born, Millersville University graduate, in International Studies and French. Along with Caitlyn’s local roots, she spent a significant amount of time abroad, having been raised in India and spending her senior year in France, gaining experiences and relationships that expand her worldview, sensitize her to global issues, and inform her decisions. She started her nonprofit capacity-building career as an AmeriCorps VISTA working at Shippensburg University for two grassroots nonprofit organizations. She built up their effectiveness and capacity through policy writing, resource development, awareness raising, strategic and succession planning, and other activities like volunteer coordination and project management, which enabled both organizations to solidify their infrastructure and expand their reach to the under-served in the community. Moved by a desire for impact and informed by life experiences, Caitlyn continues to strive toward opportunities to improve the lives of those around her and in the larger community as a Project Coordinator at coLAB.
